While Trina slept in the bed, Vashon sat in the chair at his desk in front of his laptop taking care of business also checking the books making certain they were in perfect order. It was a pretty large crowd forming downstairs in the lounge which brought money into the household. From out of the blue, Vashon phone rang next to him on the desk; he picked it up and saw his mother name and number flash across the screen.

Vashon answered the call: “Hey mom, what’s up?”

“Vashon,” Verna cried in the phone. “I need you to come home right away.”

Vashon sat up in the chair: “What’s wrong mom? Is Shiloh okay?” he questioned frantically.

“She and Nasir are fine, just come home please, I can’t tell you the news over the phone.”

“I’m on the way.”

Vashon hung up the phone; he closed down the laptop putting the books away inside the safe he had installed into the wall. Vashon threw on his clothes; he rushed inside the room to wake Trina up from her sleep.

“Trina, baby, I need to take you home this instance. My mother called me crying,” he told her.

After Trina got out the bed, she threw on her clothes. Soon, her and Vashon left the office heading downstairs to leave out the back of the club. Once they were outside the lounge, Vashon and Trina jumped inside the Camaro. Vashon ignited the engine and sped off.
